Simulating the impossible, then shipping it.

I'm George Jiri Spitalsky — I build quantum algorithms, scale statevector simulation across multiple GPUs and nodes with NVIDIA CUDA-Q, and turn applied AI research into working systems.

about

A lab of one — research that compiles, runs, and scales.

George (spital) works where quantum computing meets artificial intelligence. He's a Qiskit Advocate, holds 15+ quantum credentials on Credly, and was personally recommended by an IBM manager. He completed every lab during Qiskit Global Summer School's dev week and will mentor at QGSS 2026 this July.

His open-source work spans quantum software — including five accepted pull requests during UnitaryHack 2026 — alongside machine learning and low-level systems work in RISC-V. On the HPC side, he runs distributed statevector simulation with NVIDIA CUDA-Q across multiple GPUs and nodes.

In 2020 — years before ChatGPT — he built a GPT-2-based conversational model with translation across Czech, English, Arabic, Polish, and German. Same instinct, every time: take what's barely possible and make it real, reproducible, and fast.
